Goodrich Now Part of Aerospace Center
Goodrich, a company with an 140-year history in Ohio, acquired Atlantic Inertial Systems. AIS has been at the Aerospace Center since "Day One" in 1996. Goodrich joins a long list of Fortune 500 companies with a presence in Licking County.

The $2.9 million roadway/bridge project is now complete. The project opens up 60+ acres of rail-served property and improves access to the Aerospace & Technology Center.

Navy Workload Coming to Heath
After a 14-year absence, Navy guidance system workload that left after announcement of closure of the former Newark AFB, will return. Work is wrapping up on the area of the building that will accept new Navy workload as part of the Boeing presence at the COATC.

A new website, feeltheimpact.com, is unveiled to track the progress of the Port Authority's local economic stimulus project that includes over a dozen local contractors and vendors working to churn the $2.9 million project over again and again in the economy.

D.C. Fly-In
The Port Authority led a 10-person contingent to Washington, D.C. to meet with key members and staff of the Ohio delegation to Congress. The day gave another chance to share the impact and value of the COATC.
