Boeing Navy Project
Legacy workload from the days of the former Newark AFB is returning to the COATC in 2009. Preparations are wrapping up to accept the Navy work.

Boeing VMC
Boeing opened its Virtual Manufacturing Center in September 2008. In addition to improving Boeing-Heath's competitiveness, the VMC could become an aerospace product development mecca for the aerospace industry in Ohio.

Samuel Manu-Tech
Samuel Manu-Tech opened a new $14 million state-of-the-art steel fabrication facility on the COATC South Campus in 2007. The facility brought over 100 new manufacturing jobs to Heath.

Infrastructure Upgrades
Construction is now complete on the latest stage of infrastructure improvements to the COATC Campus. The $2.9 million project provides improved access for both the Base and South Campus of the COATC.

One Year on Facebook
The Port Authority marked one year on Facebook where it counts leadership of its customers, members of Congress, and media reprsentatives among its "fan" base.

June 22, 2010
Third Lease Signed
The Port Authority has signed three leases totalling $20 million in gross revenue in the past twelve months. The latest lease was a five-year lease renewal with The Bionetics Corporation to lease the Metrology Building on the Aerospace Center campus for location of the AFMETCAL program.

May 18, 2010
Ground Broken
The Port Authority celebrated its 15-year anniversary with a cermonial groundbreaking for the 43,400 s.f. office and clean room building. The $5.7 million new building will begin construction in late June and is expected to be completed by 2Q 2011.

Goodrich Inks Deal
Goodrich signs on as the first customer in the Port Authority's new office/clean room building.
